About Savitri

Qigong, Yoga & Embodied Awareness

Savitri’s work is rooted in a long relationship with inner practice — one that began not from certainty, but from searching.

Like many people, Savitri found her way to meditation, mind–body movement, and contemplative traditions during a period of deep questioning. What initially felt like a refuge gradually revealed itself not as an escape from life, but as a way of meeting it more honestly and skillfully — with greater steadiness, trust, and clarity.

Over time, practice became less about seeking answers and more about learning how to return: to the body, to breath, and to the quiet intelligence already present within us.

She has spent many years immersed in meditation, yoga, and contemplative inquiry, shaped in part by living and working in Southeast Asia and by ongoing study of Eastern wisdom traditions. These experiences taught her not only what to practice, but how to practice — with patience, discernment, and respect for the body’s natural rhythms, allowing form to support lived truth rather than constrain it.

In recent years, Qigong has become a central passion in her work. She is continually inspired by its gentleness, depth, and accessibility — how it supports vitality, mobility, emotional balance, and inner clarity without force or strain. At its heart, Qigong offers a way of allowing energy and emotion to move naturally, supporting regulation, healing, and a sense of connection that can evolve with a person throughout their life.

In her teaching, Savitri emphasizes presence over performance. Structure, when learned with care, becomes a doorway to freedom — including the capacity to intuitively move beyond form when it feels like the natural next step, and the wisdom to return when structure once again becomes supportive. Students often share that they feel both guided and empowered: encouraged to adapt movements to their own bodies, honor their healthy edge, and trust what feels genuinely life-giving.

These practices have become the keystone of Savitri’s own life, supporting physical health, emotional resilience, and a deepening sense of meaning in everyday living. She shares them not as prescriptions, but as invitations — drawing from wisdom traditions while honoring each person’s own beliefs and lived experience.

Her hope is to offer spaces — through movement, meditation, and reflection — where people can reconnect with their own inner wisdom and discover what truly supports them, step by step, breath by breath.
