Savitri's Approach

A yoga practice with Savitri focuses on presence, breath, and embodied listening rather than striving for perfect poses. Students are invited to move in ways that honor their body’s needs, energy levels, and natural wisdom on any given day.

You’ll explore how to adapt poses for your body and gently work with your healthy edges to build strength, flexibility, and long-term mobility in a sustainable way. The emphasis is always on feeling—cultivating steadiness, awareness, and a grounded connection within—no matter which style of yoga you choose.

Yoga Offerings

1. Gentle Yoga

A slower, gentler, nourishing practice that relieves tension, supports mobility, and encourages intuitive movement. Ideal for beginners, mixed-level groups, and anyone seeking a grounding, easeful experience.

2. Mindfulness-Based Hatha Yoga

A meditative Hatha-inspired practice that includes warm-ups for joint health and mobility, intentional pacing, and longer breath holds in each pose. Rooted in the Kripalu BRFWA approach—Breathe, Relax, Feel, Watch, Allow—this style emphasizes deep presence, focus, and inner awareness.

3. YoQi (Yoga + Qigong)

A flowing blend of accessible yoga postures and gentle Qigong movements. YoQi can be adapted as a fully standing practice for office or small-space settings and can be practiced comfortably in regular clothing—making it an excellent fit for corporate teams, nonprofit groups, and spaces without mats or props.
